Background / History

Beirut was born in the Qingya Material Plane as a Devourer Rat. He cultivated Darkness and Wind Laws, becoming a god in ten years and a Darkness Mid-God within a century. Although no native of the plane could rival him, he avoided Qingya Continent's conflicts and secluded himself on Misty Island because he lacked guidance and considered entering the Supreme Planes too risky. 102

Wyatt and Vivian found Beirut during their visit to Qingya. Sensing their overwhelming strength, Beirut cautiously offered to follow them. Wyatt declined immediate service but promised to accept him as a Sovereign's Emissary if he reached Hell, became a Seven-Star Devil, and returned to the Tianji Mountain Range within 20,000 years. Wyatt also advised him to fuse Law Profoundnesses while still a Mid-God. 102 103

Beirut left Qingya for Hell, where he relied on his bloodline and Darkness Law attainments to survive. In Youlan City, he fell in love with Carla of the powerful Bite Family, but their relationship faced opposition because Ezekiel, a gifted elder of the Four Divine Beasts Family, was also pursuing her. Beirut therefore focused on reaching High-God and Seven-Star Devil status as quickly as possible. 108 109

After becoming a High-God, Beirut reunited with Rylin, Xius, and Burgess in Hell. Beirut and Rylin jointly undertook a Seven-Star Demon Mission to kill the Boyi Family's three Seven-Star Devils, completing it with overwhelming ease. They brought the targets' Heavenly Artifacts to the Four Divine Beasts Family, including the Wuti Iron Crown sought by Wyatt. 109 110 111

Beirut is thoughtful toward those he considers close. He forged two Divine Spark Weapons as a gift for Rylin and Melina's child, and he planned for a newly born Devourer Rat to grow beside Linley, believing this would give it stronger future protection. 123 125
