Rasengan Shuriken

"That powerful?" Jiraiya's eyes widened.

"A jutsu released with one hand and no hand seals? How come I've never heard of it?" Orochimaru asked, puzzled. Tsunade said she hadn't heard of it either.

"Of course you haven't. I created this jutsu myself. I'm the only one in all of Konoha who can use it, and it's already reached A-rank."

As he spoke, Tianqi slowly raised his right hand. A small blue sphere appeared in his palm. "I named this jutsu Rasengan. It means a spinning ball of Chakra."

"It really is a one-handed jutsu with no hand seals. I just wonder how powerful it is," Orochimaru said, as the three of them watched the blue sphere in Tianqi's hand.

"Yeah, yeah, Big Brother Tianqi, hurry up and show us how strong it is!" Seeing that it truly was a one-handed jutsu with no hand seals, Jiraiya was thrilled. If it was powerful, this would be a divine jutsu.

"Back up and watch closely."

At Tianqi's words, the others moved aside, while Tang He ran farther away. A ninja's jutsu could be extremely powerful, and he didn't want to get caught in the crossfire.

"Let me show you what real power looks like. Rasengan!" Tianqi slammed the Rasengan into the ground.

The Rasengan struck the ground. With a loud bang, a crater appeared, and cracks slowly spread around it.

Orochimaru and the others stared at the crater left by the Rasengan, stunned.

"Holy crap, it's easy to use, but I didn't expect it to be this powerful! You came up with a jutsu like this? Big Brother Tianqi, you really are a genius!" Seeing how powerful the Rasengan was, Jiraiya immediately began buttering Tianqi up.

"Mm. He certainly deserves to be called a genius," Orochimaru agreed.

Tsunade thought, I didn't expect him to create a jutsu like this. This Uchiha is no ordinary person.

"Damn, ninjas really are incredible. The Land of Hot Water has hope!" Tang He burst into tears at the sight.

"This is only its most basic form. If it's developed to its full potential, it could kill even a Kage Level ninja in one hit," Tianqi said proudly, watching their stunned expressions.

"Big Brother Tianqi, I want to learn it! I want to learn it! It can kill a Jonin in its basic form, and if developed further, it can defeat even a Kage Level ninja. A jutsu this powerful—I have to learn it!" Jiraiya grabbed Tianqi's hand.

"One-hit kills against Kage Level ninja? That's still just a theory, isn't it?" Though Orochimaru was shocked by the Rasengan's power, he still didn't believe it could kill a Kage Level ninja in one strike.

"Yeah, killing a Kage Level ninja in one hit is terrifying," Tang He said. He couldn't even imagine such a thing.

"Tsunade, do you believe me?" Tianqi ignored the others and looked at Tsunade.

"Though a jutsu that can kill a Kage Level ninja sounds a little hard to believe, if you say it, I'm willing to believe you. I believe you're someone who can create miracles," Tsunade said earnestly.

At her words, a faint smile appeared on Tianqi's lips. Then he raised his right hand high above his head. "Even a Hokage who takes this head-on won't survive."

A shrill crackling rang out, and a powerful pressure swept toward them. Tang He dropped to his knees in fear, while Jiraiya and the others stared wide-eyed at Tianqi's raised hand.

"Wind Release: Rasengan Shuriken!"

Calling out the jutsu's name, Tianqi hurled the Rasengan Shuriken toward the distant woods.

"To think Chakra could be compressed to such a high density and still be thrown!" Orochimaru stared at the Rasengan Shuriken as it flew away, stunned once again.

With a boom, the Rasengan Shuriken struck the woods and unleashed a whirlwind. Tang He and the others hurried behind Tianqi for cover.

Once the whirlwind died down, they looked ahead. The once-lush forest had been flattened.

"That power is terrifying. It's already on the level of a forbidden jutsu. If a Kage Level ninja gets hit, there's no chance they'll survive," Orochimaru said, shaken by the immense energy.

"Uchiha Tianqi is truly fearsome. No wonder the Senju don't want to provoke him. As long as he's around, the Senju will always be kept in check," Tsunade said, frowning at the flattened forest.

"Is this the strength of a Konoha Ninja? He destroyed an entire forest with ease." Tang He was too frightened to speak.

"Big Brother Tianqi, are you really willing to teach me a jutsu this powerful?" Jiraiya asked in disbelief.

"When this mission is over and we're back in the village, I'll teach you. But you'll have to start with the Rasengan and work your way up. You can learn the Rasengan Shuriken only at the end," Tianqi said, patting Jiraiya on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Big Brother Tianqi. I'll work hard to learn it!" Jiraiya nodded excitedly.

"Orochimaru, Tsunade, if you want to learn, you can come to me anytime. I'll teach you everything I know," Tianqi said, not caring at all about keeping the jutsu to himself. If it spread, so be it.

"No, no, that won't be necessary," Tsunade and Orochimaru said, shaking their heads. It was his original jutsu; teaching it to Jiraiya was one thing, but the two of them would pass.

"If I wanted to, I could destroy a small country in the blink of an eye. Do you believe me, Tang He?" Tianqi asked, narrowing his eyes.

"I believe you, I believe you!" Tang He nodded repeatedly. He was beginning to regret hiring this ninja. If someone this powerful really destroyed the Land of Hot Water, there'd be no one he could appeal to. Better not to provoke him.

"No wonder you insisted on continuing the mission, Big Brother Tianqi. With your strength, a mission like this is child's play. Looks like this one will be easy," Jiraiya said with a laugh. Orochimaru and Tsunade nodded too.

"Don't get ahead of yourselves. This mission is all on you. I won't step in unless you run into a Jonin or your lives are in danger," Tianqi said.

"That's still good. At least we've got a safety net," Jiraiya said casually.

While they were talking, two Konoha Ninja appeared in front of them.

"Stop! Who are you?" the two Konoha Ninja called out.

"We're Konoha Ninja, out on a mission," Tsunade said, stepping forward. She was the princess of the Land of Fire, so she figured the two ninja would recognize her.

"You say you're Konoha Ninja, so that makes you Konoha Ninja? This is the border of the Land of Fire. I strongly suspect you're spies from an enemy country. Show us proof that you're Konoha Ninja right away, or we'll detain you," one of the ninja said sternly. Neither of them recognized Tsunade.

It turned out that, without realizing it, Tianqi and the others had already reached the border of the Land of Fire.

"I'm Tsunade. Don't you recognize me?" Tsunade hadn't expected there to be Konoha Ninja who didn't know her.

"That's right, we really are Konoha Ninja out on a mission," Orochimaru and Jiraiya added.

"Yes, sirs, they really are Konoha Ninja. They're escorting me back to the Land of Hot Water. Please believe them," Tang He said, speaking up for the group.

"Enough chatter. Show us proof of your identities," the two ninja said, ignoring them and continuing to demand proof.

Ninjas leaving the village on a mission had to register, after which the village issued them travel permits. The three rookies didn't know this, and the permit was currently in Tianqi's hands.

"Hey, do you recognize me?" Seeing that the argument was about to turn into a fight, Tianqi hurried forward and greeted the two ninja.

"Who are..." The younger ninja had barely begun to speak when the older one clapped a hand over his mouth. Recognizing Uchiha Tianqi, he immediately put on a deferential smile. "So it's Lord Tianqi. Are you heading out on a mission?"

The older ninja came over and bowed to Tianqi, his ingratiating expression a stark contrast to his earlier arrogance.

Jiraiya and the others looked at him with disdain. What a spineless suck-up. They had no respect for that kind of behavior.
