Early the next morning, Zhan was lying in bed, glaring at Tianqi with a look of complaint.
"Tianqi, you promised me a warm-up. This is what you call a warm-up? I'll be stuck in bed for the next half month."
As Zhan complained, Tianqi replied bluntly, "You're a grown man. Why are you acting like a woman? The genjutsu I used on you will help improve your mental strength. Maybe you'll awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan soon."
"Yeah, right. I don't believe a word of it. If you wanted to beat me up, you could've just said so. Why make up an excuse? If the Mangekyō Sharingan were that easy to awaken, how come you're the only one in the clan who's awakened it?" Zhan didn't believe a single punctuation mark of what Tianqi said.
"Speaking of which, you're so strong now. If Uchiha Sen invited you to return to the clan someday, would you go back?" Zhan looked at Tianqi solemnly.
"Don't bring that up again. Not Uchiha Sen, not even his father, Uchiha Qingyang, could change my mind if he came in person. I decided to leave the clan with you all, and I'll never go back." Tianqi spoke just as solemnly. He really didn't like those Moderates who had no strength but still put on airs.
Besides, they'd all be wiped out by Obito and Itachi in the future, so he wanted even less to do with them.
After hearing Tianqi's words, Zhan hesitated, but still said what was on his mind. "They're being suppressed so badly now. They're still our kin. Are we really going to watch them get bullied without lending a hand?"
Tianqi's expression changed at once. "Uchiha Zhan! Listen carefully. Their current situation is entirely their own fault. If you want to help them,
