Background

Gu Yuexi was originally part of the Dragon God, which was split into the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King after the Dragon God’s defeat. Sealed in the Forbidden Land of Gods, she awakens with knowledge of her former tragic fate and resolves to heal, grow stronger, and take revenge on the Douluo God Realm 1.

When the Space-Time Turbulence strikes the Douluo God Realm, she breaks free from her seal and seizes the Life and Destruction God Positions and seeds left by the sacrificed God of Destruction and Goddess of Life 2 3. Her conflict with Tang San begins immediately; she defeats him after neutralizing the Asura Blood Sword with the Power of Time 3.

After escaping the collapsing God Realm and reaching Douluo Star, Gu Yuexi establishes herself as the leading force behind the Soul Beast Clan’s resurgence. Gu Yuexi is decisive, strategic, and intensely protective of the Soul Beast Clan. She consistently treats the clan’s survival, independence, and long-term development as higher priorities than the interests of the Douluo God Realm or human factions 8 40 41.

She is distrustful of divine authorities and readily acts against schemes she believes would endanger her people, as shown when she rejects the Gods of Kindness and Evil’s proposed alliance 7.
