After felling the cedar, Wang Yu still cleared away its branches one by one.
By noon, Wang Yu had felled three cedars and obtained three trunks. It was already one in the afternoon, so he prepared lunch. He had two skewers of roasted Water Snail Meat and some berries again.
After lunch, he drank several servings of boiled water.
In the afternoon, Wang Yu continued chopping trees.
When he returned to the woods, he stopped chopping cedars over twenty centimeters thick. Instead, he found a cedar tree ten centimeters thick and spent the afternoon chopping those.

Then Wang Yu stuck all four Pine Oil Collectors into the cedar tree that was over sixty centimeters thick.
Once he was done, Wang Yu returned to where he had been chopping trees.
That morning, he had felled three cedars over twenty centimeters thick. In the afternoon, he had felled two ten-centimeter-thick cedars, for a total of five.
Now he had enough cedar wood, and it was time to process it.
First, Wang Yu needed to cut all five cedars into sections.
For each of the three cedars over twenty centimeters thick and over eleven meters long, Wang Yu used his Small Hacksaw to cut out three Large Logs, each 3.04 meters long.
In total, Wang Yu cut out nine Large Logs, each 3.04 meters long.
The two cedars that were ten centimeters thick and over seven meters long were each cut into a Large Log 5.45 meters long.
That left him with two Large Logs measuring 5.45 meters long.
After sawing, he had eleven Large Logs.
Then Wang Yu used his Entrenching Tool to strip the bark from all eleven Large Logs.
He took one of the two 5.45-meter Large Logs and placed it in the Fire Pit to burn. Of course, he only burned the surface. This was to char the log.
Charring a single Large Log was simple. Next, Wang Yu's main task was to process the nine Large Logs that were 3.04 meters long.

After several hours of work, Wang Yu had turned the nine Large Logs into eighteen Large Wooden Planks.
All of the Large Wooden Planks were a standard twenty centimeters wide and ten centimeters thick.
Then Wang Yu carried the eighteen Large Wooden Planks, one by one, to the open ground outside the shelter. He also carried out the charred Large Log and the one that hadn't been charred.
By the time he finished everything, it was already past eight in the evening.
It was time for dinner. That evening, Wang Yu had two skewers of roasted Water Snail Meat again. Since Water Snail Meat was the only food he had used Dice to Increase, it was all he could eat.
