The video started, showing the reception room of the Greenleaf Paranormal Agency. People from Greenleaf sat on one sofa, while an unfamiliar family of three sat on the other.
Wu Ling's features were clearly visible. Ye Qing, sitting beside her, was still blurred.
A glass coffee table stood between the two sofas.
A green greeting card lay by itself on the table.
Wu Ling held a ceramic bowl containing some kind of powder. She pinched it between her thumb and forefinger and sprinkled it around the card.
The card was surrounded by a ring of powder.
Wu Ling's lips moved softly, as if she were reciting an incantation.
After sprinkling three rings of powder, Wu Ling set the bowl aside and took a tube from her pocket.
It looked like a test tube used for medical tests.
Wu Ling opened it and poured the clear, viscous liquid inside onto the card.
Then she cut her wrist with a small knife, let the blood run to her fingertips, and lowered her hand to draw a pattern on the card and the clear liquid with her bloodied finger.
The red blood spread across the clear liquid, forming a strange, eerie skull.
The camera shifted slightly, capturing the anxious family of three. The wife still had tears on her face, and her body trembled. Their daughter stared wide-eyed, looking more curious and excited than anything else. The husband frowned, worry written across his face.
"Now we need Ms. Shen's blood," Wu Ling said.
"What?" the woman shrieked, her voice breaking.
"Can you use my blood?" the man asked.
"I'm the one who received the bank statement, so it has to be my blood, right?" the girl asked Wu Ling.
