I saw a small room that seemed to be a storage closet.

Above me hung a yellowed light bulb. There was only the bulb, no lampshade. It dangled from the ceiling, along with its pull cord. I could hear the electrical current buzzing overhead.

"Phew—" The girl exhaled, looked around, rolled up her sleeves, then bent over and began searching through the cluttered piles of things.

She tidied things up first, sorting them one by one, but soon messed up the room all over again.

I sensed what she was thinking.

After checking what was in the room, she cleared a small area and piled a lot of junk together.

She couldn't help laughing aloud. In her mind, she pictured someone coming in later and getting a whole pile of ropes dumped on their head.

She was planning a prank. She wanted to mess with one of her classmates.

After laboriously arranging everything, she went outside and brought back two blackboard erasers, placing them on top of the pile.

She dusted off her hands, put them on her hips, looked around, and nodded with satisfaction.

Just as she turned to leave, the girl stepped on a glass marble. Her foot slipped, and she fell backward into the pile of junk.

She screamed and instinctively reached out, trying to grab something to steady herself.

Her fingers caught the light's pull cord.

Click. The light went out.

Crash! All kinds of junk came tumbling down.

Thud!

The room's door slammed shut.

"Ah!" The girl screamed again. Several things hit her, and a blackboard eraser struck her head. Chalk dust covered her face and got into her eyes.

"Ugh... mm..." She groaned a few times. Her eyes burned fiercely, and her body hurt all over from the blows. Something heavy pinned her chest
