I left the hospital room with my sister, still full of questions.

On the way, we stopped at the nurses' station, where I signed a form. The nurse seemed to avoid my gaze. She spoke only to my sister and never looked at me.

The other people in the room seemed normal enough, but I heard them discussing what had just happened. They sounded worried, but not all that afraid. To them, the Ghost King seemed like an ordinary presence. Just as Chen Yihan had said, people hated crime and worried about thieves, but that didn't stop them from living their lives.

"Where are you going? Is it... that agency?" my sister asked hesitantly.

"No, I'm going to a residential complex." I shook my head, then glanced at her. "You know about the agency?"

"What about the files?" I suddenly remembered.
