At that, Jiang Cheng's face suddenly grew uneasy. He fidgeted, his eyes darting around as if he were trying to hide something.

"Haо Shuai," Zhen Jianren sneered. "Everyone's waiting for you!"
"Don't tell me you were too scared of the danger to go." Zhou Taifu stared at Jiang Cheng. His fidgety manner only made Zhou Taifu more certain his guess was right, and his voice grew louder, almost grating. "You promised us!"
Yu Wen spoke up, too. Watching Jiang Cheng, she said slowly, "Both our groups have completed the tasks as agreed, Mr. Hao. You should keep your end of the bargain, too."
Jiang Cheng seemed to have finally made up his mind. He gritted his teeth and said, "I won't back out of what I promised you. It's just..."
He turned to look at Zhen Jianren, and an unmistakable trace of pity slipped into his expression.
"sigh—!" He let out a long sigh, then looked away and slowly shook his head.
Gradually, his eyes grew red, too.
Everyone was utterly baffled.
The most baffled of all was Zhen Jianren, since Jiang Cheng's final glance had been directed at him.
He suddenly remembered the ominous feeling he'd had before coming here.
Had it come true after all?
"Why are you sighing at me?" Zhen Jianren began to feel uneasy.
Just then, the Fatty came over, too. First, he patted Jiang Cheng on the shoulder in consolation.
