Ye Chen's lineage was expelled from the Ye family by Ye Long and subsequently hunted by Sword Name Manor's Seven Sword Slaves. Years later, he returned powerful enough to defeat Yi Jian and establish himself publicly as the Northern Border God of War. 401 416

As the Northern Border God of War, Ye Chen inherited the God of War Armor left at the Northern Border Fortress by Long Aotian. The armor provides exceptional defense and increases its wearer's combat power by a major realm. 416
