After the restart, Matthew quickened the offensive rhythm once more.

He was going to put the other side a player down. Fast attacks drained stamina rapidly; if he could build up an advantage quickly, then once they recovered, they would find themselves stuck in a quagmire and gradually be dragged down.

Matthew had just struck one Bludger when another came hurtling toward him at tremendous speed.

Lee Jordan cried out in alarm, "What is Slytherin doing—why are they hitting Bludgers at Matthew—could it be—"

Matthew swung his bat and struck the incoming Bludger away as well.

In a short span of time, Matthew had hit two Bludgers in succession.

He had already discussed it with his teammates, telling the other Beater to support him with everything he had—to hit Bludgers toward him and pass the Bludgers to him.

Matthew's target was the Ravenclaw Chaser currently interfering with Marcus's positioning.

In a match, there was only a brief window to attack the Keeper. It could only be done during an offensive possession; when one's own side was not attacking, Beaters could not attack the opposing Keeper.

Otherwise, Matthew's primary target right now would have been their Keeper.

The two Bludgers rapidly closed in on the Ravenclaw Chaser.

Marcus had long known what Matthew intended to do. He had been keeping an eye on that side, and the moment Matthew struck the Bludgers, he pulled on his broomstick handle, immediately slowing down.

Most of the Ravenclaw Chaser's attention was on Marcus, and she failed to notice the approaching danger.

Then she heard the captain of the golden ponytail team shout from the other side, "Anna—get out of the way!"

Her reaction was extremely fast. She instantly swerved her broom, shifting aside by a body's width as one Bludger brushed past her shoulder.
