"What are we going to do?" Eileen was a little puzzled. She had thought that since they had found no clues from Mrs. Welsh today, they would have to look elsewhere.
After bidding Mrs. Welsh farewell, the two did not truly leave. After turning into a corner, Matthew cast a concealment spell on them.
"Mrs. Welsh should be hiding something from us. Perhaps following her will lead us to some clues," Matthew explained.
"Huh? How did you notice that Mrs. Welsh was hiding something? I didn't notice anything at all," Eileen asked curiously.
"Instinct and experience, I suppose. I thought Mrs. Welsh's expression seemed a little off," Matthew said casually.
In truth, when Matthew noticed that Mrs. Welsh's emotions seemed slightly unusual, he had secretly used Mind Extraction for an instant when their eyes met, catching glimpses of some of her surface thoughts.
Though he had not seen them clearly, he could be certain that Ismael Welsh's disappearance was actually related to the Welsh family's factory.
"Looks like I still have a lot to learn!" Eileen believed him. She clasped her hands together and perked up again.
The two watched Mrs. Welsh from afar. Yet after waiting for quite some time, they still did not see her leave. She simply stood there, doing who knew what.
"Why has she been standing there for so long..." Eileen covered her little mouth with one hand and yawned. The boring wait was beginning to test her patience.
At this moment, Mrs. Welsh finally stopped standing in place, but she did not head toward home.
The two saw Mrs. Welsh hail a rickshaw and leave.
