A flash of white light flickered across Andred's body. Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, who had been about to continue their assault, were immediately blasted back by a surge of energy. Even the spikes Matthew had created with his Shapeshifting Technique were snapped apart.
Andred swiftly pulled a bottle containing a pale golden liquid from inside his robes and drank it.
What he drank was "Holy Water." "Holy Water" had strong healing effects on injuries, toxins, and even plagues.
Though it was called "Holy Water," it was actually a type of potion refined by Wizards, a secret formula unique to the Church.
Using the "Holy Water" potion, the Church spread "the lord's gospel" throughout the Muggle world.
Some of the greenish tint faded from Andred's face, but that was all. The alchemical toxin prepared by Ravenclaw was not so easily neutralized. The "Holy Water" potion merely suppressed it, keeping the toxin within him from taking his life. However, this alchemical toxin could inhibit the magic in his body, leaving him with less than a tenth of his usual magic.
Andred's face turned livid. The three people attacking him were all formidable; if this dragged on, he would surely die. He roared, "Enemy attack!!!"
He tried to call for his companions, only to discover that the room had somehow been enveloped in a layer of magic. His voice could not carry outside.
The moment Matthew made his move, he had isolated all sound within the room. Even the door and walls had been transformed into alloy, preventing Andred from getting past him and escaping the room.
The three continued their assault. Semi-transparent tentacles condensed in Matthew's hand and stabbed toward Andred.
Gryffindor once again slashed through the air. An arc of flame flew from his blade, rushing straight at Andred's face.
