"How would you know if you didn't try?" Morgan le Fay said coldly. She struck the ground with her long-handled wand, and a cloud of deadly green mist immediately surged from the earth. Wherever the mist passed, even the sand and stones on the ground turned charred black.
Invisible Wind Wings formed behind Matthew's back. He wrapped one arm around Ravenclaw, and the wings instantly carried them away from the deadly green mist.
At the same time, Matthew swung his wand behind him. A pillar of golden fire suddenly erupted beneath the white-haired witch's feet, soaring into the air and engulfing her.
