As he spoke, countless eyes grew across the bone armor covering his body.
Dozens of black-red beams shot from those eyes and streaked toward the group.
Matthew did not interrupt his casting. Instead, he continued preparing his Magic. Using Earth Vein Magic to activate the Heart of the Oak was extremely difficult. The Heart of the Oak was a fruit borne jointly by every oak tree in Avalon. Matthew had to connect to every oak in Avalon through the Earth Vein before he could activate it.
Ravenclaw and the others stood before Matthew as he prepared his Magic, joining forces to cast the Nesting Iron Armor Charm and block the incoming black-red beams.
On the other side, the Lady of the Lake blocked the black-red beams all by herself.
These spells were nowhere near as unstoppable as Excalibur, and all of them were blocked.
Herpo glanced coldly at Matthew and sensed the Magic aura there growing ever stronger. Even he felt alarmed, so he decided to deal with this Wizard who had traveled through time alongside him first.
Herpo tried to launch a surprise attack on the group, but something wrapped around his feet. It was a pair of pincers. Ravenclaw had planted a Scorpion Puppet in advance. After crawling out of the dirt, the Scorpion Puppet's stinger swiftly thrust toward Herpo's face.
At the same time, Gryffindor flashed behind Herpo, raised his Longsword, and slashed at Herpo's cervical spine.
Herpo swung Excalibur and cut Gryffindor's Longsword in two. Without losing momentum, the blade continued toward Gryffindor's face. At the same time, the eyes on Herpo's chest fired black-red beams, blasting apart the Scorpion Puppet's stinger.
