After replacing the Purification Orb in the mountain range area, Matthew returned to the Control Hub in the Amber Area.
Several Alchemical Golems bustled about inside the Control Hub, adjusting the Biological Workshop's environment.
"Connection to Zero Tower Spirit successful..."
"System restart successful..."
"Functions restored to normal..."
Matthew walked up to a door, which opened automatically to reveal an elevator leading underground.
The Biological Workshop's laboratory was beneath the ground.
Now that the Control Hub had successfully connected to Zero Tower Spirit and restarted the system, the laboratory could be used.
The Biological Workshop's underground laboratory was enormous, larger than the Alchemy Workshop and Potion Workshop combined.
A pile of instruments Matthew could not recognize stood here. Unfortunately, many of them could no longer be used after being abandoned for so long.
Matthew took three Alchemical Golems from his pocket, and Zero Tower Spirit used the puppets to inspect the laboratory's functions.
Matthew took out the Eyeless Basilisk corpse he had killed at the entrance to Herpo's Library's secret vault. "Zero, how can the laboratory currently make use of this Basilisk?"
Since killing it, he had not done much with the Eyeless Basilisk's corpse beyond using Magic for some basic preservation.
The Biological Workshop could modify living creatures. If it could be put to use, its value would certainly be greater than if he handled it himself.
After Zero Tower Spirit examined the Eyeless Basilisk's corpse through an Alchemical Golem, it answered truthfully, "This 'Basilisk' is itself a modified life-form. Insufficient materials prevent it from being replicated."
"It can be transformed into a biological puppet."
"The biological puppet's strength depends on the materials provided."
The Tower Spirit did not give a specific list of required materials, since further
