Harry flew his Firebolt broom in the direction Hermione and Ron had gone.

He did not dare fly too fast. The Forbidden Forest was lush with branches and leaves in spring and summer, with too much obscuring his view. He was afraid that if he flew too quickly, he might miss the two of them.
