Malfoy led his two lackeys over to the compartment where Harry and the others were.

He spotted the conspicuous red hair by the door at once.

"Weasley! So you really are here, Potter! I knew it—you must be... uh..." Malfoy swept his gaze around the compartment, his expression and tone rapidly shifting from mockery to confusion, then quickly to bashfulness.

He had not found Harry Potter in the compartment. Instead, he saw again the girl he had met at the Quidditch World Cup, the one who had made his heart race.

"Malfoy, you're not welcome here!" Ron stood up and blocked Malfoy's view, snapping, "Damn it, we forgot to close the door and let flies in!"

"What did you say?!" Malfoy was instantly consumed by rage. That damned Weasley actually dared to humiliate the noble Malfoy in front of that girl!

Just then, a plump witch pushing a snack trolley came down the corridor. "Please move aside. I need to push the trolley through there."

Malfoy and his two companions could only squeeze to either side of the corridor and clear the way.

Seeing the trolley laden with goods, Malfoy suddenly had an idea. He had thought of a perfect way to attract that girl's attention.

Malfoy asked the witch, "Can I buy things now?"

Though it was not yet noon, the witch naturally would not turn away business. She nodded. "Of course. What would you like?"

Malfoy waved grandly. "Madam, I'll take everything on this trolley!"

He wanted to show that girl the strength of the Malfoy Family!

The Malfoys were not some Weasleys who could be compared to them!

The witch beamed. "Are you certain you want to buy everything on the trolley?"

"Of course. I never go back on my word!" Malfoy raised his chin.
