Filch hurriedly left the Great Hall.
A while later, the doors of the Great Hall opened again.
The students seated in the front heard gasps coming from those behind them and turned around to look.
The first to enter was a woman as tall as Hagrid.
She was far taller than an ordinary human, dressed in luxurious finery, with numerous precious ornaments around her neck and on her thick fingers.
Though this woman looked like a little giant, she walked gracefully into the Great Hall with elegant steps.
Dumbledore strode forward and lightly kissed the outstretched hand of the tall lady.
Dumbledore was already quite tall, yet he did not even need to bend down to perform the hand-kiss.
"Dear Madame Maxime, Hogwarts welcomes you," Dumbledore said.
"Dumbledore, it has been a long time. I hope you have been well," Madame Maxime said with a smile.
"Very well, thank you," Dumbledore said.
"My students." Madame Maxime shifted aside, allowing everyone to finally see the group behind her.
Behind her followed a group of students from Beauxbatons.
They were not dressed in traditional, conservative wizarding robes, but in exquisite silk garments whose streamlined cuts perfectly accentuated their figures.
Black stockings and gleaming high heels complemented each other on their legs, highlighting their leg lines with elegant charm.
As though dancing, they moved lightly down the aisle, every step exuding a unique allure, like a silent dance.
Whenever they passed a long table, they gracefully bent at the waist to greet the students beside them.
The students from Beauxbatons were all beautiful girls, certainly pleasing to the eye.
Their entrance left many Hogwarts students staring blankly, especially the boys seated near the aisle. Their stunned expressions made it clear that their hearts were anything but calm.
The Hogwarts girls, meanwhile, did not
