Matthew waved his wand, and a strong wind quickly took shape. Yet when the wind he created blew against the green mist, it had no effect at all.
Instead, it made wind breath unstable and caused it to slip from Matthew's control.
As the green mist spread over, a group of ragged Kobolds rushed out of the reeds.
The Kobolds carried all kinds of weapons. Some wielded swords and blades, some held spears and clubs, and there were even archers still hidden among the reeds.
Kobolds were small in stature, and their physical fitness was naturally somewhat weaker than that of humans. However, they reproduced very quickly and could give birth to several offspring at once, so they usually relied on numbers to win.
