Matthew and Governor Lois entered the Dream World within the Heart of the Great Tree.
They had come to the Dream World to seek out the great prophet Vera. As the great prophet of the Long-Eared Elves, she had participated in the Plane War ten thousand years ago and fought against the evil god's forces. Perhaps she had experience dealing with evil gods and could offer them some help.
After entering the Dream World, the two arrived in a place filled with hazy green mist, as though they were standing within the Green Mist Marsh.
"Lady Vera, Lois requests an audience," Governor Lois called respectfully toward the Green Mist.
A Long-Eared Elf in a white robe slowly emerged from the green mist.
The great prophet looked much the same as she had during their last meeting. She had long silver hair that nearly trailed to her ankles, wore a plain white robe without any other adornments, and had a pair of bare feet exposed beneath the hem.
Silver hair, snow-white skin, and a plain white robe—her entire figure looked flawlessly pure, carrying even a faint sense of holiness.
Looking at Matthew, the silver-haired elf parted her lips slightly. Her ethereal voice rang out. "We meet again so soon. What have you come to see me about?"
