At the same time, in Lein's temple on the distant Chaos Main Plane, the gods weren't celebrating before the battle was over, but every one of them had sent an avatar to the scene, ready to hear His Majesty the God King's guidance at the first opportunity—or to await the moment of final victory.

They gathered in groups of two or three, talking among themselves. They spoke aloud on the surface, while secretly communicating through divine thoughts.

With the Chaos Lord now like a grasshopper in autumn, unlikely to last more than a few days, many of the chief gods had already begun thinking about how
