They stepped forward in unison. Wu Xian had nowhere to run.
All he could do was watch them draw closer, their shattered wounds and icy faces growing clearer and more real.
Their expressions gradually twisted into snarls as wisps of resentful Evil Qi enveloped Wu Xian.
Wu Xian suddenly felt excruciating pain.
His head throbbed as if it were splitting apart, and his heart clenched. He felt as though his whole body were being torn apart. Heartache, fear, anger, regret... all kinds of emotions flooded over him.
If Wu Xian hadn't deliberately delayed going home to observe the situation, perhaps this tragedy would never have happened.
"Good dog. Thanks for warning me just now."
Wu Xian was starting to get bored. Whatever you want to do, could you hurry it up?
