As its title suggested, the first volume covered Ning Zhe's first encounter with the Weird World. As he climbed to the first floor, he also faced the risk of falling from above.

Ability: Used shadows as a medium to kill others, automatically sensing the presence of all shadows within a certain range.
Flaw: Others could use the same medium to kill the holder.
Name: Tuyu
Ability: Sealed off space within a certain range. (The rest was unknown.)
Flaw: Unknown.
Name: Tai Su
Ability: Detected the presence of other Ghosts. (Suspected.)
