Background / History

Since awakening her Evil Fire Phoenix, Ma Xiaotao possessed exceptional Inner Court talent but endured twelve years of recurring Evil Fire, which could overwhelm her reason and cause destructive outbursts. Before Moyuan's arrival, she relied on Xu Sanshi's water-and-earth Mystic Turtle Martial Soul to relieve the condition. 15 19

At the beginning of the school year, an Evil Fire episode led her to pursue Xu Sanshi and confront Moyuan near Sea God Lake. She refused to let Moyuan leave, then attacked him after he sent Ning Tian away. The battle escalated from the lakeshore into the air above Sea God Lake, where she used several Phoenix techniques while gradually losing control. 16 17
