Background / History

Qian Daoliu is Martial Soul Hall's Great Offering and its foremost Peerless Douluo. His Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul and Angel God backing make him one of the organization’s central pillars, with Tang Chen regarding him as a lifelong rival and equal. 15 53

When Tang Chen visited Martial Soul Hall with the intention of comparing their younger generations, Qian Daoliu accepted the proposed contest between Clear Sky Sect and Martial Soul Hall. Yun Yuan witnessed the clash between the two Level 99 experts and was profoundly inspired by their power. 15

After Qian Xunji returned severely wounded from the Star Dou Great Forest and reported Yun Yuan missing, Qian Daoliu personally entered the forest with Golden Crocodile Douluo to search for his grand-disciple. He captured the Three-Eyed Golden Lion as leverage, forced the Scarlet King to assist the search, and refused to surrender the auspicious beast until Yun Yuan’s safety was assured. 27 28 29

His confrontation with Di Tian ended in a compromise: Di Tian would help locate Yun Yuan and provide a hundred-thousand-year soul bone in exchange for the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s return. Qian Daoliu later exchanged the beast for Yun Yuan’s safety and reserved the wind-and-thunder torso bone as a future gift for Yun Yuan’s Soul Saint breakthrough. 29 32 33

When Clear Sky Sect’s actions provoked Martial Soul Hall, Qian Daoliu led the Seven Worships to pressure the sect into yielding. He punished Clear Sky Sect’s Great Elder by severing his arm and reducing his soul power by ten levels. 53 54 56
