Shirou's Grand Heroic Saga

LawAias, the Seven Rings of the Heavenly Wall, was a bronze shield layered with seven hides that Ajax had used to block Hector's spear in the Trojan War of Greek mythology. It had later been elevated into a shield of conceptual defense.

Ajax was Achilles' close comrade, and Achilles had personally witnessed the shield's formidable defensive power.

But seeing it in Shirou's hands was extremely strange.

"How do you have that shield?!" Achilles lost his composure. "Answer me, now!"

"Achilles, calm down!" Atalanta patted his shoulder, but Achilles shook her off.

His eyes contained nothing but the shield in Shirou's hands.

"Ha ha, who knows?" Shirou looked around, surveying the surroundings.

The area was full of trees, making it unsuitable for Heracles to provide support fire.

If he put too much force into it, he might even blow Shirou into the air along with the enemy.

Not far away, however, was a relatively open stretch of grassland.

There, his arrows would not go off course.

"Damn it, answer me!" Achilles hurled his spear. In an instant, it streaked toward the pink shield like a flash of green light.

Three layers of the shield were shattered at once, but after that, the spear stopped.

Breaking through three layers of the Seven Rings of the Heavenly Wall, each as hard as a city wall, already showed Achilles' strength. But that was as far as it went.

However, Achilles had never intended to rely solely on his spear.

He fully understood that his spear could not pierce that shield.

Even if this Seven Rings of the Heavenly Wall was a forgery, a shield that had withstood Hector's spear could not be broken so easily by him.

If his enemy had only been capable of this much, Achilles would not have struggled so hard
