Background / History

Shirou is a transmigrator with extensive ACG knowledge who awakens in Shirou Emiya's body on the eve of a Heaven's Feel-era Holy Grail War. Recognizing the abnormal snowfall and Miyu's presence as signs of approaching disaster, he resolves to enter the conflict, initially prioritizing survival and a pleasant life. Sakura Matou gives him the Gilgamesh Class Card, though he is unable to use it at first. 1 2

His soul's fusion with Shirou Emiya gives him access to Unlimited Blade Works, while also connecting him to Emiya's future as a Counter Force Guardian.
