"Tch—" Atalanta backed away a little. She realized that the enemy before her was absolutely the natural predator of an Archer like her.
He carried the Seven Rings of the Heavenly Wall and could use a bow to prevent her from escaping.
She could neither defeat him nor run away.
Shirou picked up an arrow and narrowed his eyes.
"Come to think of it, how about we play a game? A game where you run and I shoot."
Atalanta frowned.
She could tell what he was planning without even thinking.
"No."
"That was a quick refusal." Shirou sighed.
This girl was ultimately far calmer and smarter than Achilles, whose feet were fast but whose brain clearly could not keep up.
"Obviously. You hold the advantage, yet you want to play a game that makes it seem like I have the advantage. Either you're stupid, or you're plotting something." Atalanta exposed Shirou's plan. "And you're clearly not stupid. You drove Achilles mad with just a few words. Just how much preparation did you make? I've long heard that your scouting abilities are exceptional. It seems the rumors were true."
Shirou thought for a moment, then asked somewhat shyly,
"Um... when you say you've long heard of my great name, exactly how long has it been?"
Atalanta froze.
Why was he asking such a strange question?
"Haha, you fell for it!" Shirou fired a Spiral Sword.
Atalanta hurriedly dodged, but the arrow grazed her cheek, leaving several streaks of blood.
If she had moved even a little slower, she might have perished here.
"Assassin, you—" Before Atalanta could finish speaking, she suddenly felt that things had become even worse.
She had the distinct feeling that if she stayed any longer, she would die!
"Atalanta, is it cool down there?" Shirou smiled maliciously.
