Chapter 45: Get on Top and Move Yourself?

Astolfo mounted Swift Eagle and carried Saber as they shot toward the fortress in the sky.

Using their numerical advantage, they prepared to charge into the fortress and tear open a breach first.

But a fortress was a fortress not merely because it was sturdy, but because it could repel enemy attacks!

Magic Arrays appeared one after another, and Semiramis, seated upon the fortress throne, could not help letting out a mocking laugh.

"I know a little about magecraft too. Well then, can you break through my encirclement?"

Having only just escaped Berserker's pursuit, Amakusa Shirou patted down his sleeves and hurried back, covered in dust.

"Shirou, you're back? Black Faction's Rider and Saber are preparing to come over." Semiramis pointed at the enormous screen before her.

"I saw them. Let's proceed according to the original plan. Assassin, with your skill in magecraft, you should be able to drive them back, right?" Amakusa Shirou said with a smile.

The moment he finished speaking, Rider's Swift Eagle was struck by a magical cannon. So badly injured that it had no choice but to return to spirit form, Swift Eagle vanished, while Black Faction's Rider and Saber fell freely through the air.

"Perhaps?" Semiramis said with a hint of pride.

"It seems they've already been driven back. Assassin, could you switch the screen to Black Faction's Assassin's battle?" Amakusa Shirou looked toward the display.

"Are you really that concerned about Assassin? Come to think of it, Caster is fighting him, isn't he?"

"Yes.
