Shinji bit his finger as he watched information continuously flood across the computer screen. His hands clattered over the keyboard, but every attempt at access ended in an error.
"Big brother, don't panic. Have some water." Sakura handed a glass of water to Shinji, who was operating the computer.
"No, no, no. The Moon Cell really is even more formidable than I imagined."
Sakura barely dared to breathe as she stared at the computer screen, though she could not understand any of the information displayed there.
"Mr. Matou, is there no way to connect to the surveillance system?" Artoria sat upright, her brows tightly furrowed.
"I can't connect. The Moon Cell is a product that completely surpasses our era. Its computing power isn't even on the same order of magnitude as our computers. Just attacking it through data streams could very well crash my computer. But the person actually operating the Moon Cell is even more skilled than I imagined—at least thirty years beyond modern standards."
Shinji rubbed his temples, then picked up a piece of chocolate beside the monitor and ate it.
"Outside assistance is impossible."
They looked at one another without speaking. The only sounds in the room were Shirou's breathing as he lay on the bed and the computer's incessant alarms. Its connection to the Moon Cell seemed to be starting to break as well; access attempts were even beginning to return 404 errors.
