Power Progression

Background

Yu Yuan created the Bright Realm after obtaining its template through the Strongest Force System. He spent decades concealing it from the continent while gathering talented people, refugees, and individuals encountered by chance; those accepted were given a safe environment to cultivate and serve the realm’s goal of making its name known throughout the world. 1

The realm’s existence first became public when Huangfeng Douluo Xuan Kai appeared on the Human Race Combat Strength Ranking as a Bright Realm general. The ensuing rankings progressively exposed its large number of high-level Douluo and Armor Beasts, overturning other factions’ assumptions that it was merely a small hidden sect. 3 7 12

The Bright Realm accepts recruits on one stated condition: absolute loyalty. Dugu Bo joined after Dong Sen offered a means to resolve the toxin problems affecting him and Dugu Yan; his subsequent martial-soul evolution became an early example of the realm’s resources and benefits. 28 60 61

Di Tian located the entrance stele and entered the realm, but was defeated and taken to the Hall of Judgment. He later submitted to Yu Yuan. Gu Yue Na also discovered the Bright Realm’s location and ultimately became affiliated with it. 71 78 153 189

Location and Environment

The entrance is located in a secluded canyon marked by a roughly three-zhang-tall golden stele bearing the characters “Bright Realm.” The stele appears to be neither stone nor jade, and spatial fluctuations reveal its unusual nature. 1

• The realm exists in a space independent of the Douluo Continent and cannot be seen from outside. 1 48
• Outside factions initially failed to locate any trace of it despite continent-wide investigations. 12
• The entrance is protected by a barrier; visitors passing through it enter an environment with exceptionally dense Soul Power. 174

Governance and Society

Yu Yuan is the Lord of the Ming Realm and sits upon its Golden Throne in the Imperial Hall. He oversees the realm’s growth, distributes assignments, and personally maintains order when the power of his subordinates threatens the realm’s stability. 30 53 175

The population includes people gathered from throughout the continent. Most residents awaken ordinary Arrestor General Armor Martial Souls, while a smaller number possess the potential to wield major armors such as the Flame Dragon Armor. 1

Armor Martial Souls and Armor Beasts

The Bright Realm’s Armor Martial Souls jointly hold first place on the Supreme Martial Soul Ranking. They are described as transcending the Douluo Plane and surpassing God-level martial souls. 78

Armor Beasts are distinct from ordinary soul beasts: they can fight independently and merge with their partners’ martial souls to produce greater power. 96
