History

Qingling Palace is one of the oldest Dao systems in South Heaven Departmental Prefecture. Its founding patriarch was an Ancestral Realm existence, and the earliest Qingling Palace once stood supreme over the entire prefecture. 459

Tens of thousands of years before the present era, Qingling Palace provoked a great enemy and was nearly destroyed. Its main lineage was slaughtered, the surviving institution was rebuilt by nominal disciples, its strongest inheritance was severed, and its ancestral artifact disappeared into history. 459

Despite this loss, Qingling remains a major power with deep foundations, five supreme cities, True Saint-level forces, and a system capable of organizing joint expeditions with other great Dao systems. 376 410 411

Major Events

Guest Elder Selection

Jiang Ping, Ye Qingyun, and Ji Wushuang entered Qingling territory while seeking the Heavenly Maiden. They learned of the Guest Elder selection and the competition surrounding Qingling's resources and inheritances. 375 377 379

The selection drew Qingling inner disciples, outside Dao Seeds, and True Disciples. Qingling True Disciple Pei Kong attempted to block Jiang Ping's admission because Jiang Ping had been blacklisted by Wendaomeng. 378 388

After defeating Pei Kong despite severe injuries, Jiang Ping received an unprecedented early offer from True Saint Lu Cun and became a Guest Elder assigned to Nine Clouds City. 393

Falling Moon Ruins Expedition

Qingling Palace joined Jade Palace Prefecture in a large-scale expedition to the Falling Moon Ruins. Qingling True Saints went ahead to clear dangers, while inner disciples, True Disciples, Guest Elders, and other experts followed. 410

The expedition relied on True Saint-level Azure Dragon and White Tiger creatures for transport and demonstrated Qingling's ability to send its younger talents into a ruin dangerous enough to have claimed several True Saints. 410 411

Ancestral Artifact Crisis

After Qingling acquired a peerless Ancestral Artifact, the Hengdao Sect and Wendaomeng sought a share of it. The resulting pressure exposed Qingling's vulnerability: without its own ancestral artifact, its leaders feared a repeat of the calamity that had nearly destroyed the sect in the past. 488 489

Elder Ming proposed giving the relic to the Flying Immortal Sacred Land to reduce conflict with Ziwei Mountain, while Qingling's leadership also prepared for the threat posed by Wendaomeng. 499
