Background and History
Ye Chang lived at the Parthenon Temple with Ye Xinxia before adopting Cheng Xiaoyu and settling with the children in Bocheng. She concealed the family's past from Cheng Xiaoyu 27 71. When he was young, she fell into a coma that healing mages could not resolve. Ye Chang later attributed her prolonged sleep to Ye Xinxia's father drawing her into the Dark Dimension 1 63.
During her eight-year absence, Cheng Xiaoyu worked to support the family and sought a way to wake her. He eventually crafted the Water of Life; he and Ye Xinxia administered it at Modu Hospital, reuniting the family 61.
After waking, Ye Chang warned Song Qiming against harming Cheng Xiaoyu. She then worked with Mu Yanqiu and Ashareya to investigate Jiu Ying's plans for the Ancient Capital, keeping the operation from her son 64.
