Background

Gu Yue is the main personality of the Silver Dragon King. When she took form, her soul accidentally split, creating Na'er; Gu Yue retained seventy percent of the Silver Dragon King's power. The split, combined with the original body's foundational injuries, forced her to recuperate in the Star Dou Great Forest for three years before she could recover even a trace of her former ability. 17 25

She initially operated under the cover of a hidden family connected to the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect. The Spirit Pagoda learned that her supposed mother, Purple Dragon Douluo, wanted Gu Yue admitted directly to its headquarters. Rather than accepting her as a full Core Disciple, Leng Yaozhu made Gu Yue a Quasi-Core Disciple and assigned Zhao Xuanzhen as her sole examiner. 13 20 24

Gu Yue later disclosed the truth to Na'er: she intended to infiltrate the Spirit Transmission Tower, learn how humanity functioned, and eventually avenge the soul beast clan. Their confrontation ended in a pact: Gu Yue would not harm Zhao Xuanzhen or Leng Yaozhu, while Na'er would neither expose Gu Yue nor obstruct her activities in the Spirit Transmission Tower. Gu Yue also agreed not to attempt to devour Na'er before reaching the Extreme Douluo level. 25

Gu Yue is a tall, graceful girl with waist-length ink-black hair, black eyes, pale skin, and a calm, ethereal bearing. Her true appearance is described as the unaltered form of the proud Silver Dragon King rather than a disguise adopted to approach humans. 17 25

Her stated goal was not modest: she wanted Zhao Xuanzhen, the Spirit Transmission Tower, and the power associated with both. 25

Despite her cold exterior, Gu Yue is attentive and methodical in affection.
