Thunder Roar Ravine accompanies Eastern Xuan Academy to Xuanhuang Ancient City for the Academy Grand Competition. He is immediately drawn to the city’s bustle and later insists on visiting the Mysterious Yellow Pavilion when he learns its Pavilion Master may appear. 16 17 19

At the pavilion’s stone-gambling hall, he chooses a large rough stone that proves empty. His disappointment turns to amazement when Xuanyuan Che’s unremarkable stone produces top-grade purple jade, and he eagerly asks his junior brother to teach him the method. 17

During the Myriad Races Battlefield competition, he follows Xuanyuan Che after Eastern Xuan Academy’s team divides. He forms a four-person group with Xuanyuan Che, Yun Mengyao, and Mu Qingxue, serving as its frontline fighter while the others provide warning, sword strikes, and support. 25
