Jiraiya's actions caused a bit of a commotion, but the venue quickly settled down again.

Quite a few people present had already learned the Summoning Technique and possessed their own Summoned Beasts.

But just as that Examinee had thought, everyone tried to choose powerful species when selecting a Summoned Beast.

If that was not possible, then at the very least, they would choose one with some special ability.

Something like knowledge being power was clearly not going to work in this world.

So if someone wanted to imitate Jiraiya and summon something to take the exam in their place, he was the only exception.

Speaking of the Summoning Technique, it was still a sore point in Kagura's heart.

The reason was that no matter how hard he tried to summon afterward, the same snow-white egg appeared every time.

It was as though he had been possessed by a ghost. That egg seemed to have taken a liking to him, and whenever he used the Summoning Technique, he simply could not sense any other living creature.

After the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, learned of this matter, he had offered Kagura his own advice.

Kagura took the advice, and after considering it again and again, he signed a contract with the egg using his blood.

At the very moment the contract took effect, Kagura truly sensed the powerful creature within that egg.

Yet several years had passed since then, and every time he summoned it, the egg looked almost completely unchanged.

At one point, Kagura had even imagined whether he might one day have to use the egg to smash his enemies.

Back at the examination hall, after the commotion Jiraiya had caused, the only sound in the room was once again the scratching of pens on paper.

However, before long, that Konoha Jonin who had been standing at the back the entire time, seemingly without the slightest presence, suddenly Dodged, appearing beside an Examinee and tightly gripping that person's Right Hand.

The Examinee's face instantly turned pale. A slip of paper was clearly visible in the palm of his captured Right Hand.

The Konoha Jonin bent down and gently pinched the slip of paper between the index finger and thumb of his other hand.

He slowly unfolded it, revealing the answers to the first two questions on the test.

Expressionless, he looked at him and the Examinee beside him and said, "The two of you were caught cheating. Your qualifications to take the exam are revoked. You are eliminated."

After saying that, without waiting for any explanation, he grabbed one in each hand and carried them out like puppies.

Not long after that Konoha Jonin left, the Bald Examiner on the platform also made his move.

The man who had been standing on the platform with his arms crossed suddenly stomped down hard.

With a loud bang, the floor beneath his foot was smashed into a huge pit.

Inside the pit, an Examinee sat collapsed on the ground, staring at the Examiner Before eyes with a look of horror and despair.

Looking at the Examinee in the pit, the Bald Examiner revealed a vicious grin. "It's not bad that you know Earth Style.

"But you idiot, couldn't you at least leave a Clone in your seat before using Earth Style?

"Or did you think I was blind, unable to notice that there was one less person in the room?

"You failed too.

"I hereby announce that you are eliminated. Get the hell out of here yourself!"

After these two incidents, the atmosphere in the room clearly grew tense.

They now understood that if they wanted to cheat under the watchful eyes of these two Jonin, they would have to use some real skill.

Even so, Examinees were still caught cheating from time to time.

As for Kagura, he finished the test paper Before eyes in merely 15 Minutes.

He then leisurely leaned back in his chair, the Sharingan in his Eyes slowly turning as he watched the others' cheating methods with great interest.

In truth, aside from those with crude methods who were caught on the spot, quite a few people had successfully cheated.

For example, Dodai from Kumogakure.

His method was actually similar to that of the Examinee who had been pulled out of the ground for using Earth Style.

The difference was that his Main Body did not move and remained seated in place.

He secretly released an Earth Clone beneath his seat and directed it to use Earth Style to reach the ceiling some distance away from the Bald Examiner.

The Clone then exposed only its one intact eye, taking in the correct answers spread out on the podium.

Then there were the Seven People known as the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, whose targets were clearly the more easily exploited Examinees.

At one moment, a thin mist suddenly appeared around where they were seated, but it lasted for only a second before vanishing.

Yet within that one second, two of the Seven People had already been replaced by Water Clones.

The two of them instantly teleported, transforming into darkness and concealing themselves within the shadows of their target Examinees.

The two then hid in the shadows and openly looked over all of their targets' answers.

They then returned to their original positions the same way, instantly dismissing the Water Clones and replacing them.

The Seven People seemed to have their own system of secret signals. After the two who had obtained the answers made several hand signs beneath the table,

the other five suddenly seemed to know the answers as well and began writing.

Besides that, Kagura also discovered quite a few Ninja at the scene using other methods. Their varied techniques opened his eyes.

There was a Yamanaka Clan Genin who directly used the Body and Mind Transformation Technique to check other Examinees' answers.

There was also an Aburame Clan Member who scattered many insects throughout the examination hall.

But what surprised Kagura the most was a Kumogakure Examinee.

By some unknown method, he had actually created a cloud no larger than a palm above the examination hall.

And he had somehow transferred one of his Eyes onto that cloud.

That thin cloud slowly drifted above the examination hall, examining the papers of more than half the Examinees.

As the various Examinees displayed their abilities, time passed second by second.

As the deadline drew near, the many Examinees in the room revealed different expressions.

Those who had already completed their papers sat quietly in their seats, calmly waiting for time to pass.

Meanwhile, those who did not know how to answer the questions and did not dare cheat after the earlier warnings appeared restless and uneasy.

No matter what, time continued to pass at its own pace.

An hour quickly went by. The Bald Examiner at the front glanced at the clock and announced the end of the examination.

This once again deviated from the events in Kagura's Impression. That Examiner did not make any So-called Final Assessment move.

He did not test everyone's resolve by saying that anyone who failed would never be allowed to take the Chunin Exam again, thereby forcing those who were wavering to withdraw.

After announcing the end of the exam, the two Examiners simply collected all the papers as usual and began grading them on the spot.

Then again, the essence of this assessment was to test the Examinees' ability to gather intelligence.

Of course, if one possessed abundant knowledge oneself, one could avoid this test of ability.

In fact, the number of questions on the papers was not large. Most were broad questions, and there were only around ten questions on the entire paper.

Even so, faced with the papers of more than a hundred people, the two Examiners still took nearly an hour to finish grading them all.

After asking those who scored below eighty points to leave the classroom, the Bald Examiner looked at the seventy or eighty Examinees who remained.

Standing on the podium, he congratulated them expressionlessly. "Congratulations on passing the Second Assessment.

"From a personal standpoint, I would like to offer a friendly reminder: the upcoming assessment will no longer be so peaceful.

"You will face Casualties and even death.

"If any Examinees are afraid, I suggest that you withdraw now while you still have the chance."

After a slight pause, he Looked Towards the many Genin below.

Those who had registered for the Chunin Exam could hardly give up so easily over just a few words.

After waiting Several minutes and seeing that no one left, the Bald Examiner let out a soft sigh that seemed both gratified and regretful.

He continued, "All right. Since you have all made your choices, follow me to the Next one examination site."

With that, he led everyone out of the White Building.

After passing through a stretch of woods, they saw an even larger forest.

Once everyone had gathered on the Flat Ground before the forest, the Bald Examiner turned around and began explaining the contents of the next exam.

Upon hearing the specifics, Kagura's Eyes narrowed.

It seemed the cruelty of this exam was only just beginning...
