Anduin, after arranging with Hagrid to visit again on the weekend, left Hagrid's hut and returned to Hogwarts Castle.

As Anduin passed through the Clock Square, he heard a crackling sound from the direction of the Astronomy Tower.

Anduin thought, it seems those two groups have clashed. I wonder how Charles is doing, if he's involved, but Anduin had no intention of jumping in now. If he went up there, he might be seen as an enemy by both sides.

With that thought, he gave a mocking laugh, ignored the commotion at the Astronomy Tower, and headed straight back to the Slytherin Common Room.

Back in his room, Anduin felt full of strength. It seemed that magical creatures like Hogwarts's wild boars also had a strengthening effect on the body. He was secretly pleased and practiced a set of Tai Chi in his room to help with digestion.

After finishing his practice, Anduin continued with his study plan. However, he first opened his Potions textbook. He planned to dedicate some time to studying Potions alongside his Spell studies, to see if he could master the creation of some practical potions and research if he could recoup some funds by making potions.

Meanwhile, on the Astronomy Tower, Gryffindor and Slytherin had officially engaged in combat, marking the end of peace at Hogwarts.

The next day, after his morning run, Anduin arrived at the Great Hall. As soon as he entered, he noticed the atmosphere was off. The tables for Gryffindor and Slytherin were significantly less crowded. Usually, at this time, the Great Hall wasn't completely full, but at least seven or eight out of ten people would be dining. However, there were noticeably fewer people from Gryffindor and Slytherin compared to the other two houses.

Many of those seated at the long tables were glaring at each other, looking as if they were ready to fight at any moment. Anduin also spotted Charles at the Gryffindor table. He seemed unaffected and gave Anduin a faint nod as he entered.

"Oh my god, Anduin, do you know what major event happened in our house yesterday? I have first-hand news, do you want to hear it?" As soon as he sat down, Vivian leaned in, looking at Anduin mysteriously, as if urging him to ask.

"I don't know, and I don't want to know. You don't have to tell me," Anduin said calmly to Vivian. He thought, not only do I know what happened, but I even heard the commotion yesterday. But what does it have to do with me?

"Anduin, you're so boring." Seeing that Anduin was unmoved, Vivian deflated. However, she still poured out all the information she had gathered. Making her shut up would be worse than killing her.

"Yesterday, our house somehow got wind that Gryffindor was planning a midnight excursion to the Astronomy Tower for a gathering. So, those guys from the Pure-blood families gathered together, preparing to teach Gryffindor a lesson.

They originally planned to throw a few Stink Bombs during the Gryffindor gathering, then use curses for a surprise attack on a few people, and block the entrance to the Astronomy Tower. That would have disgusted the Gryffindors to death," Vivian recounted vividly, as if she had been there.

"And guess what? As soon as their people snuck into the Astronomy Tower, they were discovered by the Gryffindors. What was supposed to be a prank turned into a large-scale battle between the two houses. I heard several people on both sides were injured.

Later, they saw Professor McGonagall and Filch approaching, so they scattered and fled. Only a few people managed to escape; most of those present were caught. The injured were sent to the infirmary, and the others are reportedly going to be confined for a month or two," Vivian said with a schadenfreude that made it seem like she wasn't a Slytherin herself.

Vivian then nudged her chin towards Vanessa and said, "Gryffindor and Slytherin have both lost at least a hundred points. Vanessa is furious. It's only been two months since school started, and it's already like this. I guess we won't be winning the House Cup this semester."

Anduin was impressed by Vivian's information-gathering skills, noting how clearly she had dug up the details. At the same time, he felt utter contempt for these weaklings who went looking for trouble late at night, only to resort to pranks.

As expected, they were just a bunch of kids with no real vision. He really didn't need to waste his time on these young wizards.

With that thought, he stopped paying attention to the farce.

Soon, it was time for another Spell Club meeting. Anduin arrived at the meeting location early. On the bottom shelf of the bookshelf behind the podium, he found a copy of "Magical Defense Theory." He took out the book, put it away, found a seat, and opened it. Inside, he found several pieces of parchment filled with writing. He also noticed many notes recorded by Lily in this book, indicating it belonged to her.

After a brief look, he discovered it mainly recorded some defensive spells and counter-curses for dark magic. It even explained how to develop counter-curses for a spell. However, much of it involved Ancient Runes, which Anduin couldn't understand yet.

"Ancient Runes is a third-year elective. I'll have to find a way to learn it in advance," Anduin decided.

Before long, the Spell Club meeting began. Anduin refocused his attention on the club.

It was clear that no matter the topic, it was difficult to achieve results quickly. During the discussion session, no one had made significant progress. Professor Flitwick, as the supervising professor, only answered everyone's difficult questions. However, Quirrell, the senior student who had previously developed the Amplifying Hearing Spell, seemed to be making rapid progress. His main focus was on the development of sonic spells. The latest demonstration of the Amplifying Hearing Spell could even allow everyone in the room to hear conversations between paintings outside the room after casting. Although it was still noisy, it was a significant improvement in terms of penetration.

Anduin was like an invisible presence in the Spell Club, mostly observing and listening, without making any comments. The other senior students simply assumed Flitwick was intentionally giving the newcomer special treatment by letting him audit, and didn't expect Anduin to truly understand anything.

Anduin, however, was enjoying himself. Senior student Quirrell's research on the Amplifying Spell broadened his horizons considerably and gave him new concepts for developing new spells.

Developing a new spell requires a significant amount of time for 'Rune Research,' which also involves Ancient Runes. To invent a new spell, one must first prepare a Base Rune, much like preparing a canvas for painting.

Then, Applied Runes are filled onto the Base Magical Script, and various combinations are made. During the combination process, attention must also be paid to the stability between the runes. Some runes have repulsive reactions with each other, like "water" and "fire." Combining them might be fine, but casting a spell with such an unstable rune structure would surely result in an explosion.
