While Anduin was still fretting, the group watching the children seemed to have had their fill of playing. Sirius saw Anduin come out and, holding a child, said with a grin, "Hey, come take a look. This is my godson, Harry."

Then he brought Harry closer to Anduin and said to the still-too-young-to-understand Harry, "Hey, Harry, this is Anduin. You have to remember not to be vain like this guy when you grow up." Holding Harry and saying such annoying things, Sirius was clearly indulging his mischievous streak. He didn't even care whether little Harry could understand him.

Anduin rolled his eyes. Looking at the innocent, bewildered Harry, he took the boy's hand and teased him, "Hey, little Harry, your godfather seems annoying, but actually he's even more annoying. Don't grow up to be as sloppy as him, okay?"

Sirius immediately took offense. He lifted Harry away from Anduin and said, "What are you doing? Don't corrupt my little Harry."

As he held Harry, Sirius was nothing like his usual boisterous self. Instead, his face was full of tenderness. Anyone would have thought Harry was his own son.

Anduin played with Sirius and little Harry for a while longer. Then James called Sirius over, saying he needed him for something, so Sirius handed little Harry to Anduin and went to see James.

Anduin held little Harry and watched the little one sucking on his fingers. He couldn't see even the slightest hint of the Chosen One in him.

Before long, Sirius came back and said, "Anduin, James suggested we all take a group photo. Come join us."

Anduin agreed, then carried Harry over to the fireplace. James and Lupin had already moved the living room furniture out of the way. Alice Longbottom called Lily and Augusta out of the kitchen,
