Seeing the pursuers behind him get caught in such a blunder and struck by their own Anti-Air System, Anduin felt a little relieved.

But he still didn't dare let his guard down. He knew exactly how strong the Protective Wall he was about to face would be.

Based on the specifications he used when outfitting the Security Systems of large institutions, once the Active Defense Module was engaged, this Protective Shield would have at least 1,000 points of defensive strength.

In other words, the spells used to attack the Magic Shield would need a combined power of over 1,000 points to break through. And that would only open a hole, so he had to act fast; otherwise, it would heal in no time.

Of course, there were easier ways to get through the Magic Shield. Anduin had a back door, for instance, and could even shut it down remotely.

But he obviously couldn't do that now. After weighing his options, Anduin decided to break through by force. Even so, he didn't dare use his full strength, or he might accidentally give himself away.

So, as soon as Anduin reached the Protective Shield, he swung his wand wildly and fired off seven or eight Confringo spells in rapid succession, blasting the same spot.

The violent explosions sent ripples shuddering through the Magic Barrier. After a good while, they finally opened a hole tall enough for a person to pass through. The breach was already healing at a visible speed.

Anduin didn't dare waste time. He hunched over and shot through the opening.

The wizards in hot pursuit panicked. They had been counting on the Protective Wall to slow the enemy down.

Who could have expected him to be so powerful? They hadn't even had time to stop him before he escaped.
