Oh my goodness, was that thing a Patronus?
Looking at the spirit raven whose wings stretched across the sky above her, Remus Lupin, among the students, felt as if the decades he'd lived had all been wasted.
What did it mean to be the greatest genius Hogwarts had ever seen?
This was what it meant!
"Remarkable."
He'd heard that Klein Grindelwald was exceptionally talented, and that if not for the limits of his magical reserves, his combat ability could even surpass Severus Snape's.
But he hadn't expected Klein to be this good.
This Patronus had gone beyond all reason.
Oddly enough, the professors hadn't objected to Klein teaching the class. Normally, as a student himself, Klein wouldn't have been qualified to teach spells.
In the end, Klein could only conclude that Dumbledore, the big boss of Hogwarts, had given everyone a heads-up in advance.
"Expecto Patronum. That's the incantation for the Patronus Charm. Now, everyone give it a try."
Facing the young witches and wizards, Klein flicked his Purple Sandalwood Wand.
Learning spells took time and practice. It couldn't be rushed.
Fortunately, casting the Patronus Charm wasn't dangerous. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been comfortable letting over a hundred young witches and wizards wave their wands all at once.
"Expecto Patronum."
Curious, the hundred or so young witches and wizards recited the incantation they'd just learned.
Of course, they didn't summon anything.
"Try again."
Klein wasn't in a hurry.
"Expecto Patronum."
The young witches and wizards tried again.
Practicing spells was a rather tedious business, but both Klein and the young witches and wizards took it seriously. After they'd practiced more than ten times, Klein nodded in satisfaction.
"All right, stop waving your wands. Think of something happy, or something that makes you feel good."
Why did practicing the Patronus Charm
