Dumbledore frowned as he looked at the Daily Prophet in his hands.
After a moment's thought, he relaxed again and picked up the Honey Tea beside him.
No matter how powerful you were, there were always things beyond your reach.
The American magic world could deal with its own problems. The American Aurors could handle them themselves.
Just then, Lupin's low voice came from outside the door.
"Minister Dumbledore, someone's here to see you. He says he has an appointment."
"Oh?"
Dumbledore paused and set down his teacup.
He didn't have an appointment with anyone.
"Show him in."
Suppressing his doubts, the old man decided to meet this mysterious visitor.
"Yes, sir."
Lupin, who had been promoted to Minister of Magic's secretary, quietly acknowledged the order and opened the door to Dumbledore's office for the visitor.
"Please come in, sir."
The man who entered was about the same age as Dumbledore: a bald old man, bareheaded, dressed in a black coat and a red scarf. One of his eyes was dull and lifeless; the other was bright and clear.
"Yikes..."
At the sight of the visitor, Dumbledore sucked in a sharp breath.

"What, you don't welcome me?"
Gellert surveyed the furnishings in Dumbledore's office and chuckled, revealing a set of teeth that were neat but had long since lost their shine.
"Lupin, go on with your work. I'll talk with this gentleman."
Dumbledore pushed down his emotions and turned to his werewolf secretary.
"Yes, Mister Dumbledore."
One of the reasons Lupin was qualified to serve as the Minister of Magic's secretary was that he knew how to keep his mouth shut.
If it wasn't his place to ask, he didn't ask.
