Words from the Sea of Knowledge kept spilling forth. Its initial offensive gradually grew sharper and fiercer; the attacks formed from countless knowledge fragments, which had initially scattered outward in all directions, slowly fell into a pattern and condensed into pillars.
That dreamlike knowledge formed Light Beams like towering spears, crashing down amid the Flesh that filled the sky. The Flesh let out piercing wails and sizzling sounds of corrosion.
The Crown contaminated by the Flesh hung high in the sky, fused to the Flesh below, which was covered in starry sky patterns.
While the Sea of Knowledge and the Flesh remained locked in a stalemate, Klaus, Blue Knight, and the others had already arrived beneath the Main Tower of the Tower of Erudition.
Quite a few people had gathered around the Main Tower.
Aside from the personnel Night Watcher had stationed here, there was Guardian, as well as a very small number of teachers nearby.
Klaus hurried to the lowest level, but when he found Guardian, he could barely recognize him.

Before Klaus floated an enormous eyeball, pitch-black from end to end. Its pupil occupied most of its surface, and the light around it seemed to be swallowed the instant it fell upon it, sending chills down one's spine.
At the very top of the eyeball sat a human head. Its facial features were barely recognizable, but everything below its neck had completely merged into that gigantic black eyeball. Not even the outline of a human body—or any flesh—remained.
