Temüjin was immensely powerful; he would never fall for an accident that did not even qualify as a sneak attack. He lightly tugged the reins, guiding his warhorse to leap aside and evade it.
With a splat, the thing hit the ground, scattering mud everywhere.
Once everyone saw it clearly, their expressions changed drastically. What had fallen was a huge lump of bird droppings.
A few flecks had even splashed onto Temüjin's riding boots.
The two attendants hurriedly dismounted, pulled out coarse cloth, and wiped Temüjin's boots. The other Mongol princes and nobles began cursing furiously, repeating phrases like "beasts" and "disrespectful" over and over.
Temüjin laughed heartily. "Enough. Why lower yourselves by getting angry with two beasts?"
Only then did the Mongol princes and nobles fall silent.
Temüjin pointed his riding crop at the two giant eagles in the sky. "These two beasts possess some intelligence, and they are strong enough to serve as mounts. If we can tame them, the elite scouts of the Mongols will be able to overlook the battlefield and hold the course of war in their hands."
Jebe nodded. "The Great Khan is absolutely right."
Temüjin picked up another arrow and said, "I am the lord of the grasslands chosen by Eternal Heaven, and the Khan of the entire world. I will certainly tame these giant eagles. Only I am qualified to be their master!"

Another sonic boom rang out. This time, Temüjin finally used his true strength.
The Blood Qi arrow traced a massive crimson arrowhead through the sky, shooting straight into the clouds. The clouds along its path were stirred by the powerful Blood Qi and exploded into an enormous ring that slowly spread outward.
Temüjin had changed his mind and wanted to tame the giant eagles, so he did not
