Redleaf Lord's Glory Sword (First Update)

In the Underground Research Lab of Redleaf City, a pile of treasure chests were placed in front of Bai Xiaowen and Li Shuyi.

There are more than twenty Common Tier Bronze Treasure Chest, seven Elite Tier Silver Treasure Chest, and the most eye-catching are three Golden Treasure Chest, each containing the legacy of one of the three Undead Legion Boss Tier.

However, equipping a one-handed weapon also has its advantages, namely, the ability to carry a light or medium shield in the off-hand, which can Block enemy attacks. Many tank-type classes do this.

While two-handed weapons offer a slower attack speed, their high single-hit damage results in a higher chance of crippling or instant kill. Furthermore, skills like Whirlwind Slash have a wider range and deal more damage. Finally, two-handed weapons are also more convenient for Parry enemy melee attacks, making them the ideal choice for aggressive warriors.

Agile warriors or assassins have another option: "Dual-wielding one-handed weapons"! Just like Li Shuyi, they attack by wielding a one-handed weapon in each hand.

This approach sacrifices some defensive capabilities (weaker Parry ability and lower success rate), and also affects and reduces the hit rate of effective attacks (i. e., the percentage of attacks that are not dodged, Parry, or Block by the enemy) and the accuracy of Vital Strike. These reductions will not be reflected on the combat panel, but the impact is very real.

However, dual-wielding also has its advantages, namely, a corresponding increase in attack speed! Each level of Battle Specialty can increase attack speed by 5%.

With Li Shuyi's current level 5 advanced One-Handed Swordsmanship, if she wields two one-handed weapons, her attack speed can be increased by 25%, and the first attack on the target can deal two instances of damage.

While there will be negative effects such as reduced hit rate and Vital Strike rate, these effects only apply to enemies in their normal state. If an enemy is hit by a control skill and becomes a stationary target that cannot be resisted or dodged, these negative effects will not exist.

Therefore, Li Shuyi's choice of dual-wielding weapons was an inevitable path.

Next, Bai Xiaowen opened the Lich Aibize's Golden Treasure Chest.

The team's Kill Contribution rate was 73%, with Li Shuyi achieving a 39% Kill Contribution due to her exceptional damage output after activating the Demonfire Dance. This was also the first time her Kill Contribution rate in a boss battle surpassed Bai Xiaowen's.

Although the story-driven bandit's 27% Kill Contribution reduced the combat rating, the Lich Ebizer is a level 6 Boss Tier, so compared to Lord Maki, the combat rating should actually be higher. Therefore, the Battle Rating remained at B and did not decline.
