Players can use any psionic item, but there's a prerequisite: the item must be either "loot" or something obtained through the Spirit Realm merit points. In short, it must be something the player has earned through their own efforts.

If the item is traded or given to another awakened individual, its use is prohibited. Violators will be immediately penalized, and those who commit such violations may face additional penalties.

As for how to prove that the item was obtained through one's own efforts, it's very simple: the information provided by the Spirit Realm Rules can prove everything.

For all Loot Card draws, the Spirit Realm Rules notification is:

"You have obtained XX."

When exchanging merit points for the selected faction, the Spirit Realm Rules prompt message is:

"You redeemed XX, spending XXX merit points."

Regarding items obtained through trade with other awakened beings, the Spirit Realm Rules state:

"By successfully completing a transaction with so-and-so, you gained XX, and you lost XX."

For example, regarding Xiang Hui's Silver Tier item, the Thunderforged Grappling Hook Gun, Yan Xiaoxin had already provided the official information about Xiang Hui's loot draw before the competition, so it was not against the rules.

Only items have this restriction. Equipment, food, and potions obtained through trade do not have this restriction.

Of course, once these items are used in the Psionic Training Ground, the use of those items is truly consumed. Most items cannot be used up, so each use reduces the number of uses available. Therefore, whether it is worth using or not requires careful consideration.
