Possession

The atmosphere froze.

Both Li Shuyis stared at Qiao Rui, waiting for her instructions.

In the Team Channel, Qiao Rui deliberately paused for a few seconds before saying, "Shu Yi, drop your swords and do a backflip."

Han Xu: "..."

Clatter!

Two sets of blades hit the ground almost at the same instant. Both Li Shuyis dropped their swords, did a backflip, and landed steadily.

Han Xu was baffled. He shook his head. "I can't tell which one is fake."

Qiao Rui couldn't tell either. "That's strange. Can the ghost disguised as Shu Yi hear what we say in the Team Channel?"

Suddenly, Li Shuyi's voice sounded in the Team Channel:

"Sister Qiao, watch out for the one on your right. She's the ghost..."

Qiao Rui thought she had her answer. The one who had spoken—Li Shuyi on her left—must be real. She gave Han Xu a look.

But before Han Xu could act, another Li Shuyi spoke in the Team Channel, sounding furious:

"No! That ghost can get into our Team Channel! The ghost was the one who just spoke. She's framing me!"

Qiao Rui and Han Xu exchanged helpless looks. Now they had a problem.

The Team Channel should have been the perfect way to tell them apart. If a ghost could infiltrate it, though, things were much more troublesome.

"How about this... We'll talk about things we've experienced together and use them to tell you apart," Qiao Rui said, coming up with another idea.

"Okay."

"No problem!" Both Li Shuyis answered eagerly, almost in unison. Then they turned and glared at each other.

"She's even copied Shu Yi's personality perfectly..." Qiao Rui shook her head slightly. She was no longer sure what to think.

Qiao Rui asked the first Li Shuyi, "When did I join the team?"
