Leaving the Redstone Throne under the suspicious, appraising gazes of the Orcs, Bai Xiaowen and his two companions were shown to a spacious but plain wooden house built of thick planks.
This was not the Orcs being stingy. In fact, the house was one of the better buildings in Redstone City. Many Orcs lived in hide tents or slept out in the open. With their tough hides, they hardly feared wind or rain.
Inside the wooden house, the three sat in a circle.
"Brother, how likely do you think King Kamush is to join the alliance?" With Ahan present for the discussion, Li Shuyi had adjusted how she addressed Bai Xiaowen.
Bai Xiaowen said, "Whatever happens, both sides have grounds for cooperation. I still don't know enough about the Orc leadership to make an accurate judgment. But I'm optimistic about an alliance."
