Arc 49The Yellow Heaven Falls

Bai Xiaowen uncovered Guo Cai’s ties to the Yellow Turbans and led the campaign that destroyed Zhang Jiao’s army, securing the Heavenly Books and consolidating his control in Youzhou. With Ge Xuan helping him study the books and the Spell Talisman Annotations, Bai Xiaowen opened the Dragon-Patterned Gold Casket.

  • Bai Xiaowen found evidence that Guo Cai was supplying Yellow Turbans in Great Snow Valley, captured him, and learned that more than two thousand bandits were hiding there.
  • Bai Xiaowen prompted Yuan Shao to send Jiao Chu and Zhang Nan against the Yellow Turbans, then used the ensuing campaign to bring his own Winged Cavalry into the battle.

Arc 50The Fall of Xudu

Bai Xiaowen used the Map of Mountains and Rivers, his upgraded talismans, and the Winged Cavalry to capture Xudu and secure Emperor Xian’s support. He arranged the court’s move to Ye City and set plans in motion around the coming battle at Guandu.

  • Bai Xiaowen completed the A-Tier Hero Side Quest and received the Map of Mountains and Rivers, then used it to track Qiao Rui and locate Spirit Realm contestants.
  • Bai Xiaowen completed Taiping Talisman and led the Winged Cavalry from Youzhou toward Xudu, capturing Yanling Pass on the way.

Arc 51The Four Provinces United

Bai Xiaowen defeated Yuan Shao’s forces, escorted the emperor to Ye City, and secured the support of the Guandu generals as he took control of Hebei. After Yuan Tan rejected surrender, Bai Xiaowen captured Julu and took him alive.

  • Cao Xiong burned Yuan Shao’s supplies and killed several commanders, while Li Shuyi recovered Guo Tu’s forged letter and Ju Shou prevented Yuan Shao from punishing Zhang He and Gao Lan.
  • Cao Cao lured Yuan Shao into dividing his forces, then defeated them, while Cao Xiong killed Yuan Shao and Bai Xiaowen marched north through Sili Province.

Arc 52Defeating Cao Cao

Bai Xiaowen defeated Cao Cao’s army, took Xudu, and brought the Cao faction under the imperial court. As he turned to the Western Liang delegation and Ma Teng’s illness, Camille reunited with him and Ge Xuan identified the curse afflicting Ma Teng.

  • Bai Xiaowen consolidated his leadership of the Yuan Clan Faction, triggered the first Grand Unification Main Quest, and marched to defend Anyang against Cao Cao.
  • Bai Xiaowen lured Cao Cao’s forces into an ambush at Anyang, routed them with his empowered army, and captured several of Cao Cao’s generals.
