Bai Xiaowen conquered the realm, became Emperor of Great Yan, and learned the Scripture of the Grand Void. Back on Earth, he designated Jiangdong as his territory and prepared to advance to Evolver.

Arc 53Western Campaign and Hanzhong

Bai Xiaowen defeated Ma Chao’s Western Liang forces, secured Ma Chao’s conditional cooperation, and expanded his campaign toward Hanzhong. The Yuan Army breached Nanzheng’s west gate while Ma Chao’s forces were trapped in an ambush at the east gate.

  • After Ma Teng died during treatment, Bai Xiaowen suspected an unknown cultivator had framed him, while Ma Chao blamed Yuan Xi and marched against him with Han Sui.
  • Ma Chao attacked Tong Pass, but Bai Xiaowen’s forces outmaneuvered him, exploited discord between him and Han Sui, and trapped his retreating army in Chang'an.
  • Bai Xiaowen persuaded Ma Chao to campaign against Zhang Lu in exchange for troops, while promising to investigate whether Yuan Xi had caused Ma Teng’s death.
  • Bai Xiaowen accepted the title of Duke of Yan despite Xun Yu’s objections, then continued consolidating northern China and defeating the Wuhuan and other northern tribes.

Arc 54The Western Sichuan Campaign

Bai Xiaowen captured Hanzhong and drove Liu Bei’s forces into a struggle for Western Sichuan, using stratagems to seize key passes and defeat Liu Bei’s army. The arc ended with Liu Bei abandoning Western Sichuan and retreating toward Jingzhou as Yuan Xi’s forces attacked from several directions.

  • Bai Xiaowen captured Nanzheng, secured Zhang Lu’s surrender, and learned that the missing adviser Dan Fu was Xu Shu.
  • Zhang Song offered Bai Xiaowen a map of Western Sichuan, then helped set Liu Bei on the path to seize Yizhou from Liu Zhang.
  • Bai Xiaowen sent Jia Xu to command the defense of Hefei and watched Liu Bei capture Luo Castle after Pang Tong died from Zhang Ren’s ambush.

Arc 55The Yangtze Campaign

Bai Xiaowen conquered Yizhou, consolidated his rule, and launched a campaign to take Jiangdong. As his fleet crossed the Yangtze and Zhou Yu’s ships caught fire, Bai Xiaowen discovered that Alec Santos had infiltrated his army and betrayed him.

  • Bai Xiaowen defeated Liu Bei’s forces, captured Liu Bei and his brothers, and secured the surrender of Liu Zhang and Yizhou.
  • Bai Xiaowen uncovered the plot against Ma Teng, then arranged for Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei to be exiled to Eastern Ying after they appeared to die from Ge Xuan’s pills.
  • Jia Xu lured Sun Ce’s forces into a burning Hefei and captured Wan City, while Bai Xiaowen returned to the capital and secured his promotion to Prince of Yan.
  • Bai Xiaowen sent Zhang He and Jia Xu on a diversion toward Luling and led the main army into Jingzhou, where Lu Su and Lü Meng withdrew from Jiangxia and were later captured.
  • Bai Xiaowen began cultivating Origin Force, prepared his navy for the Jiangdong campaign, and sent Cai Zhong and Cai He to infiltrate Sun Ce’s camp.

  • Bai Xiaowen defeated Zhou Yu's forces, captured Zhou Yu and Gan Ning, and watched Sun Ce flee south as the eastern commanderies fell under his control.
  • Bai Xiaowen accepted Liu Xie's abdication, became emperor of Great Yan, and quelled a rebellion in Ye Capital.
  • Bai Xiaowen learned that Zhen Mi feared being left behind, made her his second Follower, and left an Incarnation to govern while he traveled to Crane-Cry Mountain.
